I won prestigious grants from international foundations, world bodies and governments. Forming partnerships to protect biodiversity and mitigate climate change in southern Africa, the Horn of Africa, South Asia and beyond, is second nature to me.Before joining the environmental sector, I was a television producer creating a variety of programming for cable networks in Los Angeles. At the same time, I consulted with well-known music artists, entertainers and professional athletes seeking to develop personal brands. I booked personal appearances and media interviews, negotiated deals for branded products, and produced photo shoots. I styled my clients for events, helping them forge an identity or re-brand themselves through imagery. I created content for social media pages that drew more one million fans each, two of which were among the first to achieve this milestone.My communications training took place at Porter Novelli and Fleishman Hillard in Los Angeles. I have a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Science in Communications (Broadcasting & FIlm), with a concentration in Italian Cultural Studies.
