I started my journey of yoga in 1997@ Bihar Yoga Bharati (Deemed University); known for authentic teaching in yogic discipline. After completing my Post Graduation in Yoga Psychology; I was involved as an intern in various projects/studies in Prisons, Army, Hospitals and corporates for one and half years. After completing my internship; I was offered a job of a Lecturer in the department of Yoga Psychology @ Bihar Yoga Bharati, which provided me ample opportunities to explore the theoretical as well as practical dimensions of yogic knowledge.During my stay (from 2001-2005) in the University I was involved in teaching 4 months Certificate course, Diploma and Post-Graduate students from India and abroad and supervising their dissertations and projects in yogic field.In 2006 I joined Ananda in the Himalayas and currently working as Head of Yoga; responsible for creating and executing the various Yoga packages and programs for this award winning Destination spa. Currently@Ananda in the Himalayas a highly structured programme of Traditional Hatha yoga and Meditations is offered to our esteemed guest practitioners. In 2010 I was voted and awarded as Top 10 Favourite Spa Professional Award by SPA FINDER magazine and yoga at Ananda was honored as Best for Yoga for years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.As a teacher of yogic path I work as a FACILITATOR to create an enviroment of growth and harmony within me and participants. Teaching to me is a participation of the teacher and the participants. It's a process of establishing connection and evolving together in a beautiful journey of yoga. All of these techniques are sourced from various established philosophical traditions in India such as Vedanta, Upanishads, Tantras and yoga.8. As a visiting yoga master conducted classes for media group in india (India Today) and UK.9. Developed and Conducted an intense 14 days Meditation retreat program (Living Consciously Meditation Retreat) @ Ananda in the Himalayas.
