Head G&G and Project Management of Egypt blocks (5 blocks), Indonesia (1 block), On-land operated & non-operated blocks of Cambay basin in GSPC.Overseas acreages : Five blocks in Egypt and one exploratory block in Indonesia are operated by GSPC. Undersigned is heading the group for G&G activities and project Management at Headquarter. One Gas discovery made in offshore Egypt. Old & newly acquired 2D Seismic data in Indonesia project interpreted.Cambay basin : Three exploratory blocks and Seven Producing assets are being headed by me. Recently, reinterpretation of well log data and 2D / 3D Seismic data interpretation for Clastic Reservoir have led to discovery of new Oil pool in the ML area. This new find has opened up a new play in the entire Tarapur tectonic block of Cambay basin. Static modeling and estimation of Reserve.Shale Gas Exploration : I am heading the Shale Gas group in GSPC and Petrophysical evaluation (TOC, VRo, Vp/Vs etc) of all drilled well has been completed. Based on Petrophysical evaluation result, horizons on the 2D & 3D seismic data were picked with the help of synthetic seismogram. Seven horizons have been correlated in the entire Tarapur block and the areas rich with Shale Gas reserve have been delineated with its resource estimation. Brittle zones have also been identified which is favorable for hydro-fracturing.

Tectono-sedimentation model of Gulf of Mannar and to delineate hydrocarbon prospective area, Cauvery Basin, India - Electrolog correlation integrating Biostratigraphy in the stratworks of Landmark software and identified six regional correlatable reflectors. Correlated 6 horizons in entire basin in Seiswork. Correlated Faults and established tectonic frame work of the basin. Carried out Paleotectonic analysis and deciphered the tectonic evolution of the basin. Prepared Time Structure Map, Isochronopach maps and Seismogeological cross sections on Z-map. Interpreted the depositional model of four stratigraphic units and delineated the plays and prospects. Synthetic wells were generated for input to basin modeling. Generated all inputs for techno-economic analysis.Identification of Oligocene Play in the Shelf – Slope corridor of Cauvery Basin in the light of Narimanam Oil-field settings. Tied the seismic with well data using T-D functions and synthetic seismograms. Marked systems tracts and sequence boundaries on wireline logs and transferred to seiswork and integrated the available biostratigraphic, sedimentological & geochemical data. Correlated 6 horizons, identified paleoshore line, shelf break and prepared the structural framework. Prepared seismo-geological cross-sections and carried out paleotectonic analysis, brought out structural model at three levels, understood the charging mechanism with the help of available drilled data and fault pattern, delineated the prospective area. The strike slip motion at Eocene top level was interpreted to have generated structures due to transpression and was delineated as most prospective areas.Re-Evaluation of Palk Bay, Gulf of Mannar & adjoining areas to assess the hydrocarbon potential of Kamalapuram, Nannilam, Bhuvanagiri and Andimadam Formations.

Electro log correlation on Stratwork of Landmark workstation, picking ofkey horizons on seismic with the help of VSP data, correlation of horizons of Landmark IIWS, establishing fault pattern and Mapping, geological modeling and deciphering tectono-depositional model of the basin, identification of Plays and prospects. Report writing and presentation to management and in Regional Exploration Board meeting for release of location. Presented papers.Gas hydrate exploration of east &west coast of India; Processing of seismic lines (Trace editing, velocity picking and building velocity model, improving the BSR and interpretation. Presented papers.

Project Coordinator of Cuba (Operated - 2 blocks and Non-operated - 6 blocks) and carried out interpretation for the Cuban projects. Carried out Seismic data correlation, mapping and interpretation of Carbonate Reservoir. Brought out tectono-depositional models, identified plays & prospects, volumetric and firmed up drillable prospect. In addition to interpretation, Prepared Program of work and budget for each project, Tendering for 2D / 3D Seismic data acquisition, processing & interpretation, Coordinated with Finance / Commercial / Legal. Presented interpretation and project activities plans to OVL Management. Organized Technical & Operating Committee Meetings with partners and Management Committee Meetings with regulator of host government. I am responsible for implementation of Minimum Work program (MWP) of the projects and carry out technical evaluation of different opportunities for Farm-in. Gave Contractual and technical presentation for Farm-out to various companies.Project Coordinator (10th July 2007 – 31st Aug’2009)On Joining at ONGC Videsh Ltd at New Delhi, undersigned was given the responsibilities of Project Coordinator for 2 Operated and 6 non-operated blocks of Cuba. Subsequently in December 2007, 3 operated and 2 Non-operated blocks of Colombia were also assigned to me. Prepared Program of work and budget for each project, Tendering for 2D / 3D Seismic data acquisition, processing & interpretation, Coordinated with Finance / Commercial / Legal. Supervised seismic data interpretation, Presented interpretation and project activities plans to OVL Management.
