At ON Semiconductor Technology India my role and responsibilities are for Oversee all functions of Bangalore India Design & Development Center. Work closely with all departments to formulate strategies that satisfy the requirements of the business and customers/clients. Lead the BIDC design and development teams, managing talent, drive commitment and accountability, understand strengths and weakness, reward and recognize performance. Management direction of all phases of a product from market definition through design and release. Managing engineering resources and development schedules factoring in project uncertainties and building in contingency plans including hiring of resources targeting the BIDC KPI plans. Technical supervision of development of products, achieve efficient and cost effective solutions. Supervision of the ISO compliance efforts for the ON Semi Bangalore site. Overall general management and administration of ON Semi Bangalore India center including the required interactions with Indian government / local authorities. Establish budgets, long-term objectives and criteria for monitoring progress and measuring success.
