Additionally, I had to network with ministry officials and industry associations to represent and promote members' needs and concerns… Show more As part of my previous role, I had to proactively communicate with officials from various government bodies such as the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Heavy Industry, and the Ministry of Finance. I was responsible for guiding members of ACMA on matters related to Foreign Trade Policy, Trade Agreement, and new market identification/development. Additionally, I had to network with ministry officials and industry associations to represent and promote members' needs and concerns. Also, I had to collect, understand, and analyze information and data pertaining to the legislations impacting the auto component industry.As part of my work profile, I was party of various sector specfic studies/reports had to study sector-specific reports conducted by well-known consultants such as McKinsey, E&Y, Accenture, IMaCS, Frost&Sullivan, and Avalon. Some of the research projects I was involved in include AMP 2016-26, Vision 2020 for the Auto Component Industry, Export Opportunities in China, Capturing the Global Opportunity, and others as part of the Knowledge Partner committee. Additionally, I was actively involved in international activities and in preparing a strategy for the Auto Component Industry. In the past, I handled the China and Iran desk in ACMA.Some of the additional key assignments I handled were creating a unique portal on Public Policy & Resource Centre where members can access all relevant policies, important reports, notifications, Trade Agreements, Foreign Trade Policy, incentives, budget, etc. I drafted a document highlighting incentives provided by the Central Government for the members to avail the benefits.
