 Responsible for the prudent extension of $35 million in credit as well as minimizing all bad debt, maintained A/R at 92% current with less than 2% over 90 days.  Investigate and analyze current and prospective customer payment patterns, financial statements, and credit agency data to extend prudent credit to customers. Supervise staff with respect to the application of cash to customer accounts. Manage International Credit & Collections for Asia, Latin America and the UK. Perform collection of account receivables to ensure percent of accounts current is maximized and DSO and bad debt are minimized.  Compile, reconcile, and maintain all A/R accounting, aging, and reporting. Manage/analyze credit extended to BAF and its affiliates. Manage data to and from outside credit reporting agencies. (DNBi, Sky minder and Sea fax) Recommend and maintain budget for this function. Develop/maintain credit-reporting mechanisms for management. Research and develop new credit mechanisms to support domestic and international sales. Pursue best practices and internal controls with respect to this role. Cash Management/Cash Positioning/ Redeem and Purchase shares through Bank. ACH/Wire Processing both Domestic and International. Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to grow new and existing business.
