The work of Save-India is focused on the three verticals of Education, Health & Livelihoods.By working together, in collaboration with corporate bodies & funding agencies, SAVE-INDIA is an active partner in guiding, facilitating and project monitoring, which is an intricate part of Social Responsibility activities.This arrangement also absolves the Corporates/Funding Agencies and other donors from engaging specialized manpower for the same.

Writing proposals, preparing concept notes, meeting with key personnel in corporates, banks & foundations, researching on Foundations who donate to NGOs, remaining updated on facts and figures circulated by WHO, UN, & other organizations on persons with mental illness. Talking to Principals/Teachers/School Coordinators to arrange awareness workshops for children from class V to XII on mental illness and drug addiction. As part of donor relations, preparing due diligence reports, monthly reports & encouraging donors to visit Antara and meet the beneficiaries. Rs 30 lakhs, 40 computers, 2 water coolers & filters, a van to deliver plants tended by the rehabilitation unit, etc fundraised for Antara, from Dec 2014 to Dec 2015.

Have A Heart Foundation (HAHF) funds surgeries of children born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) in BPL families at Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Jaipur & Ludhiana. Partner hospitals, Narayana Hrudayalaya, & Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiac Sciences and Research in Bangalore,The Mission Hospital and RTIICS in Kolkata, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, and Hero Heart Hospital, Ludhiana, participate in the project by giving huge discounts for surgery of patients sent to them from HAHF. Surgeries to heal children born with CHD are very expensive and risky, especially for those who are 'blue babies.' The Managing Trustee of HAHF, Mr Manohar D. Chatlani is a well known figure in the garment industry.My work included meeting the beneficiaries, helping them to get their documents ready, arranging for them to see the doctors at partner hospitals, arranging funds for complicated surgeries like "arterial switch,' replacement of valves or 'tetralogy of fallot'. It also included building & maintaining relationships with partner hospitals. The monthly Newsletter of HAHF was prepared by me and forwarded to all contacts and donors of HAHF. Regular visits were made to the hospitals to ensure that the children and their families were being given the best possible treatment & care. Maintaining MIS on patients, family backgrounds, treatment procedures and discharge instructions; visiting them in the ward after surgery and at home after discharge were some of the key areas of my job responsibility.
