Currently a Senior Financial Analyst with VMware, I have amassed over 10 years’ experience in FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Internal Audit, Process Improvement etc. I started my career with a Big 4 firm as an auditor & was given the opportunity to work with many companies in almost every industry. The skills you get as an auditor set you up for almost any career path. I learnt to use my judgement, to be curious & be detail oriented to deliver high standard work in high pressure situations. 10 years and counting, this still stays relevant. In my current role, my top 3 responsibilities include -- Manage both short and long-term financial planning processes across business units - Analyze the variance between actuals and forecast to present insights to top management.- Partner & collaborate with local & international business teams to drive best practices and process improvements.
