♣ Lead financial budget planning in coordination with the Fundraising team for project proposal as well as for the partner NGOs.♣ Ensure all plans and budgets of all partnership projects are prepared in line with AAI Nepal’s Annual plan & budgets.♣ Ensure all the income/expenses are captured and accurate for the period, project income and expense forecast, financial narrative reports are submitted within the deadline. ♣ Ensure timely and correct reporting by all the partnership projects to their respective donors.♣ Closely supervise the project finance function in all partnership projects. Guide and assist the finance functions in the partnership projects in preparing the periodic financial reports as required by the different donors.♣ Regularly monitor the funds flow position of each of the projects to ensure the funds are neither held in excess by the projects nor face a situation of shortage of funds.♣ Ensure donor compliances in financial reporting. To ensure the same, review the different aspects donor requirements minutely and thoroughly.♣ Facilitate both internal and external audit processes for all the partnership projects.♣ Ensure all statutory compliances that are to be met by AAIN e.g. timely deposit of all statutory dues e.g. TDS and other duties. Ensure Tax Clearance for the staff at the closure of the fiscal year and Statutory Reports to different Statutory Bodies as required.♣ Produce financial statement for tax purpose and preparing required reports for submission to Inland Revenue Office♣ Design and disseminate Monthly Management Accounts to all the budgets centres and units.♣ Reconcile the debtors and creditors in the SUN Accounting system.♣ Efficient use of the accounting system to record, reconcile and produce financial reports. ♣ Perform finance related responsibilities such as salary preparation & reviewing income tax calculation, bank reconciliation on timely basis and final clearance of staffs.

♣ Conduct comprehensive financial audits and agree upon procedures.♣ Perform analytical procedures/analyses to detect unusual financial statement relationships.♣ Perform internal control and substantive testing.♣ Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to line manager.♣ Propose adjusting journal entries and discuss audit findings with clients.♣ Prepare Provided by Client lists and confirmation requests.♣ Document audit procedures and cross reference work papers.♣ Test the design and implementation of internal control systems in line with the Standards on Auditing, including understanding and documenting clients accounting processes.♣ Perform risk assessment particular to clients in relation to the market and the client’s internal environment.
