As a Permit Design Engineer at UNIRAC, Inc., I design and develop solar mounting systems for residential and commercial projects, using AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS. I collaborate with engineering, sales, and installation teams to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer specifications, and deliver high-quality and cost-effective solutions.I started my career at Wattmonk Technologies, where I worked as a Solar Permit Design Engineer and Team Lead for over a year. I was responsible for creating and reviewing solar permit packages, managing a team of four engineers, and coordinating with clients and authorities. I contributed to the successful completion of more than 50 solar projects across India, with a total capacity of over 10 MW. I have a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, where I learned the fundamentals of design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems. I am passionate about renewable energy and innovation, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies.
