Sushree helps her clients to find meaning in what they do, help them understand and accept themselves as well as others around them. She assists them to cope with the current situation and engage them in a therapeutic relationship. Through this therapeutic alliance, she provides the safety net for re-visiting their difficult times and re-build the client's confidence to take the next step in their personal, social or professional journey. Sushree extends an emotionally healing counselling experience to clients facing problems(knowingly/unknowingly) in the areas of self-esteem, self-care, relational disturbance, intimacy and sexuality-related issues. She works with survivors of violence and abuse, victims of depression and stress to reduce their feelings of loneliness and tries to re-connect with themself in a meaningful way.

Part of Enfold's team for the prevention of Child Sexual abuse through the assistance and involvement of Bangalore Police. The purpose is to create awareness among Bangalore Police to be more effective while dealing with sexual harassment and abuse cases- especially with minors.

Sushree has been part of Parivarthan's Counselling Helpline Services(PCH )Team providing immediate and instant telephonic counselling support to clients with an emergent need to speak, share and feel being listened to . Students and Parents with difficulty make calls to get quick help from across the country . As Part of Parivarthan's Outreach Team , she extends counselling services to the students, staffs & parents of differrent educational institutions .

Sushree has been part of this unique learning place called Ananya Trust,Bangalore which is a week day residential school for the children of the less-privileged and migrant workers .As a therapist, she is engaged with the students both on an individual basis and group work depending on the requirement. She facilitates the interaction with children keeping the focus on their need for self-care and growth. The nature of work is highly sensitive and engaging as most of them are hailed from family backgrounds where domestic violence, abuse, alcoholism are daily experience. She feels it is an amazingly rare opportunity for her self -learning .
