The Outreach and Membership Services Associate works to increase support for Earthjustice by building and strengthening relationships with supporters and donors and by ensuring smooth maintenance of donor services systems. This position requires a self‐starter who is able to work both collaboratively and independently and possesses strong interpersonal skills. The position requires stellar relational and customer service skills, excellent writing and analytical skills, diplomacy and discretion, and the ability to adapt and think creatively. The Outreach and Membership Services Associate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and be highly detail oriented. Outreach and Membership Services Associates encourage donor retention, contributed revenue to Earthjustice as well as general engagement by ensuring that donors and the general public are supported and recognized, and by communicating that their involvement makes a difference. This objective is achieved through personalized, friendly, and responsive constituent engagement through verbal and written communications. Additionally, Outreach and Membership Services Associates contribute to a culture of internal information sharing; fundraising and organizational protocols grounded in equity and justice, and personal growth and accountability. This objective is achieved through collaborative systems development and maintenance, participating in transformative learning opportunities, and self-reflection and study.

-Accepts, processes, and acknowledges donor contributions to Earthjustice and ensures data integrity utilizing the Blackbaud CRM database.-Categorizes and tracks donor inquiries and provides reports on volume and trends to collaborative teams and departments.-Assists with development of printed and digital stewardship materials and outreach pieces, including developing and overseeing timelines, coordinating review of materials and production.

Austin, Texas, United States

Assisted with foundation relations for several Austin area nonprofit organizations by attending grant info sessions, proofreading and editing documents, and supporting other grant application writing processes. Non-profit areas of impact include: maternal/parental empowerment, family well-being, child development, Black-community centered education, charter school fundraising.

Manages the front desk at the Stanford Visitor Center and leads campus walking tours and specialized Humanities and Arts tours for Stanford University visitors, from prospective students to international tourists. Additionally, greets visitors and personably answers a wide variety of questions and phone calls. Since the coronavirus crisis, has assisted in developing and producing online programs for prospective students.

Worked with Resident Fellow and team of four student staff to create a positive and supportive community. Built community among 96 upperclassmen students at Stanford University that encourages adventure, inclusion and intellectual curiosity. Managed a $30K budget for various events, outdoor trips and educational programming. Facilitated students’ access to campus resources, and organize community and wellness events for residents. Provided academic and psychological support and mentorship.

South Lake Tahoe, California

Worked on a team of 61 Stanford undergraduates to offer 60 Stanford families the best week of their year for each of 13 weeks.Summer 2019-Office Assistant-Aided in administrative tasks for the main office of Camp.
