I have extensive experience in both the NHS and higher education sectors.My experience in practice learning support and development, and as an admissions academic has developed my interest and expertise in supporting students to achieve and succeed, irrespective of their starting points. I have facilitated, supported, promoted and lead learning for students in both practice and academic settings as well as guiding colleagues in the provision of assessment and supervision.I have recently completed Professional Advocacy training and am excited and proud to be working to embed this concept within pre-registration nurse education as a further means to support student learning and development and achievement.
