Temp Position--Recalculation of royalties over past 10 years based on royalty contract language to determine accuracy of prior royalty payments.-Compiled detailed summaries and report data to be examined by management to make business decisions regarding surgeon payments. -Organized surgeon reference material including contracts, patent data, legal interpretations, and commercialization letters. Increased efficiency in researching surgeon data. Material utilized by several company departments.-Utilized Cognos & AS400 to extract sales data for basis in royalty calculation and research needed information such as BFS codes, product codes, and customer information.-Assisted in creating a master file that drives the royalty payment process. -Assisted in developing processes and forms that will be utilized going forward in the surgeon payment process as well as processing of overall royalty paperwork.-Created process to extract surgeon carve-out data from Cognos to be applied to the quarterly royalty payments.-Led process to update all legal interpretation sheets to be in compliance with decisions made during the Legacy Royalty Project.-One of the key liaisons between finance, legal and medical affairs during the Legacy Royalty Project.-Read surgeon contracts for consistent application of new guidelines and processes around determining start dates, patent application and end dates.-Heavily utilized Excel and Word to gain efficiencies and create procedures on this project.-Received Standards of Leadership Award for contributions on the Legacy Royalty Project.

Company Closed--Provide team leadership, supervision, and oversee payroll processing for 800+ employees.-Experienced with ADP and E-time payroll. Assisted with original implementation of ADP.-Assist Contract Administrator with daily operations and employees with questions to resolve payroll issues. Processed reports and monitored overtime usage and absenteeism. Calculated employee severance package payments including bonuses and PTO payouts.-Administer HR functions: recruiting, credentialing applicants, hiring, terminations, drug screens, record keeping-Member of Liberty Healthcare Management Team coordinating the closure of the FWSDC.
