I worked on a multi-capability team set up to improve the student experience at LSBU. My role was to research the staff and student environment, tasks and challenges to define requirements for a Predictive Analytics tool that identified students at risk of failing their studies so they could be offered more support to help them succeed.

I joined a recently formed Change Management team, responsible for setting up the Business Analysis processes and products, and then performing business analysis once the team was up and running (includes 9 month sabbatical). Projects included defining requirements for a nutritional analysis tool to help chefs prepare meals for children that conform to government nutritional standards and creating language-agnostic user guides for operational staff.

I am passionate about the Environment so I joined the Environment Agency as an Internal Auditor. My job was to analyse ways of working to come up with ideas for improvement and find risks to the Environment Agency providing the service the Public needed.

After joining the IBM Graduate Training Scheme, I decided to follow a career in business analysis – a role that allowed me to combine my love of working with people and technology. I worked on many projects, the most interesting of which was designing and building a portal to enhance the user experience for staff working for a large highstreet Pharmaceutical firm.
