Managing relationships and operations for the participating units at the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade.

Managed advertising and promotions from 15 dental offices within Illinois. Negotiated contracts with vendors and maintained relationships. Identified areas to cut costs or streamline processes to be more efficient. Designed and managed fulfillment of printed promotional materials. Updated Wordpress websites and blogs, selected content for social media, and develop email campaigns. Prepared and analyzed monthly financial statistics. Implemented and managed membership discount plan for patients. Served as desktop support and troubleshoot software issues. Facilitated training on new marketing initiatives. Served as a company liaison at community events and many other duties to promote the growth of the offices.

Planned annual fundraising gala for non-profit organization. Selected graphic design team to prepare collateral for the event, developed a brand/image for the recurring event. Organized and maintained registration materials for gala and VIP receptions. Developing seating for strategic placement of development associates with potential donors. Assisted with venue selection, provided menu recommendations and oversaw temporary staff on-site for event.

I managed the special event program at the museum which was an alternative revenue generator for the non-profit organization. I was responsible for vendor management, contract negotiation, sales, business development, event planning and management.

I managed about 150 fundraising events for the museum per year. Special events included membership gathering, exhibition openings, private dinner parties, black-tie gala presidential meetings and dinners. Oversaw maintenance and scheduling for VIP event space. Also, directed and mentored Event Assistant in planning and preparation of membership events.This was my dream job, I loved every minute of it!
