I'm Susie McDaniel, a wife, mother of two boys, a physical therapist, and a Board-Certified Cognitive Specialist. Growing up, I knew my children would be my greatest accomplishment. My oldest son, Matthew, faced struggles with ADHD, causing stress in our family. As a determined mother and therapist, I searched for solutions.My physical therapy background led me to explore various interventions, but something was missing. Learning about cognitive skills training and LearningRx from a friend, I saw hope for Matthew. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I opened our first LearningRx in Atlanta in 2008.Both my sons were among our first clients, and the results were remarkable. Matthew's memory, processing speed, and attention improved. He excelled in high school, majoring in Robotics Engineering, earning scholarships, and making the dean's list.Thomas, without specific learning challenges, benefited too. He became a confident student, excelling in academics and majoring in Robotics Engineering. Their college entrance exam scores were strong, thanks to LearningRx.For our family, LearningRx provided an obviously greater value than other options. It improved our children's academics, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Necessity led me to this life-changing intervention, and I aim to bring hope and empowerment to other families like mine.
