I have spent the past 3 1/2 years being the full-time caregiver to both of my parents, who were in late stage dementia. My parents passed away within nine days of each other in January 2016. I have been employed as an office manager, administrator, accounts payable/receivable, data entry and I am proficient with most all business applications and platforms. Additionally I have experience in marketing, driving social media and interpreting trends and shifts. I am a hard worker, a skilled multi-tasker and I have well-honed customer service skills. Responsible for financial reporting, maintaining office accounts and updating new business acquisitions; Tracking insurance and annuity applications with daily communication with UAFC, John Hancock, Lincoln Financial and American Investors (Aviva). Preparing month end reports, updating Profit and Loss statements, submit to issue reports for each agent and the company as a whole. Recruiting and interviewing prospective agents, preparing new agent appointments and maintaining all personnel files.

I write for PC Magazine on a freelance basis - contributing features and highlights in the magazine's "Front Side" section.

Process clients, conduct background research, gather statistics and complete paperwork of clients arrested on DWI charges. I also interface with NC DMV, send through treatment completions and monitor the progress of clients working toward meeting the requirements of North Carolina, based on pre and post trial recommendations of attorneys and judges.

Wrote a column based on single-parenting entitled, "Single...With Children". The column included advice and featured my experience as a single Mom, raising a son and daughter.
