I joined M/s. General Technics (PVT) Ltd., Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1999 as Sales & Service Engineer. In my two and half years stay in the company I was responsible for selling Road rollers & spare parts for Nicolina RoadRollers and submit repair estimates for major overhauls. I’ve catered mainly to the Government sector as well as the private sector.

I began my career as Trainee Technical Officer at M/s. Road Construction & Development Co. Pvt Ltd., Sri Lanka in 1993 and in 1994 I was promoted to Technical Officer/ Officer in Charge and transferred to Southern Regional Workshop. In my five-year stay at Regional Workshop, I have handled Running repairs, Preventive Maintenance and Major Overhauls of earth moving machinery (Komatsu Dozers, Komatsu Motor Graders, JCB Backhoe Loaders, etc. etc). DGM (Mechanical) & Regional Mechanical Engineer were highlyappreciated the work I’ve done to maintain the heavy vehicle fleet in Regional Workshop
