I am currently enrolled in the business admission program, but I intend to continue my education to earn a bachelor's degree in marketing from a university. As an immigrant, communion is one of the most essential skills to have. Since I was young, I had to be the translator for my parents and try to break down the language barrier at every parent-teacher interview. This has led to me developing an interest in trying o communicate with people from all walks of life. The taekwondo club that I was a part of and high school has helped me meet various people from different backgrounds. By committing to a weekly plan and practising patterns at my own pace, Taekwondo particularly aids me in strengthening my work ethic and discipline. Being a person of colour, I am very interested in promoting cultural understanding and celebrating many cultures in our community. In my senior year of the leadership club, my team and I created an annual culture day and hosted an assembly recognizing the different types of people in our school.
