I am an accounting professional with seven years of experience with Financial Accounting, Property Tax and Sales & Use tax procedure. Throughout my career, I have worked at technology/software companies in several areas of accounting including: revenue recognition, rebate analysis, general ledger maintenance and financial statement reconciliation. I am consistently recognized for being very detailed-oriented and highly analytical. In my most recent position at Promethean as Sr. Staff Accountant, my accounting role included month-end closing procedures and revenue recognition (ASC-606) where I finalized monthly sales for each state in North America & Canada. Although my job had a revenue focus, I have worked in several other areas including prepaid, accrual, financial reporting and sales tax . I enjoy the challenge of uncovering ways to save money and find ways to make accounting procedures more efficient. I am at my best when I am in a leadership role charged with reaching deadlines in a highly risk-oriented environment, whether that is working independently or collaborating with others in a team setting.
