Chief deliverables• Supply Chain Excellence: Working with cross functional teams for different projects, tools for improving the supply chain process along with tracking different cost optimization initiatives.• Future ready: securing the reliable & cost- effective supplies of raw material through the Long-Term Contract.• Process optimization: Centralized PO creation at corporate level which help us in better visibility & monitoring payments for each product. • Strategic sourcing/alliances: Identifying multiple avenues/ opportunities/ ideas to improve procurement price of import/ domestic material, based on market insights & intelligence• Trend analysis of RM material prices and Strategy for future procurement and Logistics• Risk Management: Risk identification & mitigation for risks that could affect the supply chain.• Process Automation: Collaborating with the IT team for developing various dashboards & MIS reports, trackers related to Supply Chain.• RM storage enhancement- Leading the “Capacity building for all major raw material” project in the CFT• Vendor Management: Vendor Identification and onboarding.• Developed strategies in coordination with the organizational goals, enhancing profitability as well as coordinating commercial department budget preparation activities.• Demurrage Reduction- Coordination with the supplier at the time of vessel nomination/ arrivalgiven the preference to the smaller/ Geographical rotation which is suitable for the Shallow Berth at JNPT.• Supporting EVP-Procurement & Supply Chain for taking strategic decisions.
