 Molecular biology techniques PCR, restriction digests, transformations, protein expression (E. coli/mammalian cells), SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and protein purification. Analyzed RNA targets using QuantiGene Plex assay for gene identification in monoclonal antibody cell lines. Handled sample prep, assay execution, and data analysis. Conducted enzyme assays (DHFR, fucosyltransferase) in cell lines using plate-based assays and MALDI-TOF.

 Created constructs for CHO 1,6 fucosyltransferase expression in E. coli and CHO cells; purified expressed protein. Developed an assay to measure fucosylation levels in CHO cell cultures. Determined intracellular nucleotide and sugar-nucleotide concentrations related to glycosylation using Ion-Pair HPLC; optimized extraction and HPLC methods.
