I am looking forward to new challenges from start 2025.In 2018 I became a new mother to a lovely boy, Aslak. However, motherhood quickly became more demanding than nappies and diapers, as Aslak few days old got a serios and extensive brain damage. I was swirled into a life completely different from the one I imangined. Later that year I made an active choice to become his voice, his help and support.I have received financial support from our municipality and cared for my son the last 6+ years. Despite his many diagnosis and challenges, we are today much further than what the doctors predicted in his first months.I am immensely proud of the journey we have been on, together, and the development we both have gone through. Today, we have arrived in a very good place allowing me bring back my focus to the career I only got to dream about. I am really looking forward to use my education, my competencies and my head in another way. In january 2018 I graduated as Bachelor in Engineering in Global Management and Manufacturing from University of Southern Denmark. The week before start of that education I had my last work day at the Danish Taxministry where I just graduated as a office assistent, specialising in public administration. I was encouraged to keep studying by a very talented leader, and I am very happy about that choice. As a mother to a disabled child, I have becom an expert in planning and coordination. In short time, I managed to learn new subjects while becoming an expert on my son, his disablities and treatments. I researched every diagnosis through research papers, relevant study books and through dialouge with both professionals and families with similar diagnosis across the world.As human I have been knocked down, but got up stronger with a great life insight. I have practiced my communication skills in the collaboration with healthcare professionals, multiple professionels in the state and private companies and through a network of other families with disabled children.As a person, I am smiling, helpful and welcoming. In the last year, I have used my knowledge as an engineer to solve complex issues, through data collection, and compared data analysis with empiricism. As a creative painter in my free time, I can also take a step back and view situations from a different perspective.
