Botello Productions™ created International Mobil Film Festival™, an international mobile media film festival, focused on the most popular mobile device: the smartphone. San Diego Mobile Film School, SBP Podcast, the unique "Community Stories" program, and later, the first streaming platform for mobile films: Mobile Film Stories. Susy Botello is very passionate about storytelling, mobile filmmaking, technology and global sharing.Susy launched International Mobil Film Festival™ in 2009 with a vision. Her vision inspired people. The idea that films could be shot with mobile phone cameras was successful in connecting a new culture of global filmmakers. Susy is available for speaking engagements, presentations & workshops. The International Mobile Film Festival was the first film festival only accepting films shot with mobile phones to present them in a traditional live in-person venue on a large screen, inviting filmmakers around the world to participate in person.Well experienced with over 19 years in the video industry, Susan also worked in graphics and worked in places, like Southern Indian Health Consortium as a Communications Coordinator and publications editor. As an editor and communications coordinator, she designed & distributed newsletters for the organization and its staff and was soon given the additional role of Ambassador.Susy worked in San Diego's Water Department in Multimedia, and at Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino as an Internal Graphics Designer for the Human Resources Training and Development Department. Susy's work in video & film productions provided her the privilege to take part in short and feature independent films with professionals from the film industry. Susy managed a programming distribution company for Public TV stations and school districts nationwide. She worked with and met many executives, station managers and also managed office operations and staff.
