International Controller
Current• Supervise and train a diverse team in multiple geographies- US , EMEA &APAC• Provides departmental leadership and staff development opportunities to create a strong succession plan• Monitor and improve financial controls and accounting procedures• Participate in the month-end financial closing process and ensure transactions are recorded timely and accurately • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements• Taking lead for International General accounting, Global payroll , Global Commission and Global Account Payable team• Proven people management and development skills• Creating, implementing, managing, and monitoring effective internal controls• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Good communicator, self-motivated with desire for continuous improvement• Responsible for account reconciliations as assigned and un-assigned• Prepares monthly schedules and reports, including Balance Sheet and P&L for reporting to CFO and the Audit Committee• Provides support in the communications and coordination with the Company’s external auditors• Manages the Company’s travel expense reporting• Supports analysis and implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements• Assists in the administration and development of accounting policies and procedures.• Maintains and improves financial operations to ensure that recommendations from auditors are implemented in a timely manner• Be a key member of the implementation team for Microsoft Dynamics 365• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising on needed actions
