I was responsible for program structure and delivery of the virtual reality (VR) software platform that drove Quest. • Developed the hiring model across FRL software for hiring at scale; focusing on business priorities and technical needs.• Grew the leadership team at multiple levels with a focus on senior individuals and senior managers. Developed strategic and operational flight operation solutions with Alaska's pilots and maintenance engineers. Focused on improving the end-user experience through listening, design methods, AI/ML, and cloud technology; improving flight-deck operations and safety.• Developed the strategic roadmap for Alaska Airlines Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).• Designed and delivered innovative tools for flight briefing, ETOPS, and EFB currency.• Delivered operational improvements resulting in annual equivalent savings of $40 million dollars and 2-minutes per aircraft “turn”.• Improved safety of flight through a multi-million dollar upgrade of mobile hardware and network connectivity.• Delivered on an artificial intelligence proof-of-concept solution for predicting capacity constraints for overhead baggage. Goal to improve customer experience and reduce boarding time.

Designed and built systems that enabled enterprise scale adoption of Xbox One and Windows apps.• Reinvented the Xbox system for cataloging, publishing, and configuration of Xbox One games and social experiences• Built automated analysis for categorization, sentiment of customer feedback; created a feedback loop between engineering and customers.• Developed the Windows10 enterprise and business store portal; enabling education and business customers of all sizes to acquire, manage, and distribute apps from the Windows Store to their organizations. • Established the release rhythm across several complex organizations for the initial launch of Windows 10 Store; ensuring Windows Store was ready and compliant to enter new geographical markets through partnerships and standardized tooling.

Built a partnership-oriented, hands-on consulting approach to help clients achieve their complex business goals, based on strong empathy and a passion for team inclusion and development. • Designed and delivered training to multiple Microsoft partners across the world; we helped partners transition from traditional, on-prem implementations to those that are more repeatable and cloud-friendly. Introduced novel concepts that allowed the partners to share the cost of shifting to Cloud-development with Microsoft.• Guided the design and strategy of major new investments; including business charter, goals, roadmaps, political navigation, and project management.• Successfully guided 2 international clients through a service recovery issue for their largest, strategic client.

Designed and built systems for enabling large scale deployment and project management of key Microsoft technologies across Xbox, Windows, and Dynamics. • Redesigned the project management tooling for Xbox with consideration for multiple internal and cross-divisional teams. Outcome was a single source of truth for product development across the Xbox organization while preserving local differences.• Built the cross-platform and cross-device strategy for Right Management Service (RMS); enabling an holistic offering to enterprise customers with hybrid platform environments.• Responsible for the early adoption program in Windows Phone 7 (WP7) with OEM and mobile operators. Impact of the investment was that technical acceptance in the EU went from over 12 months to less than 2 months.• Responsible for the project management of Dynamics AX across three geographic locations; reduced cost of release delivery from 6 months to less than 2.

Early stage startup-company, focused on large data-set eDiscovery. Designed solutions to advance the (legal) review process by improving the document decision per hour rate, reducing costs, and increasing the reliability of decisions regarding document inclusion. We leveraged semantic analysis to help identify and show affinity between documents. Decisions went from months for 1Gb of data to same-day ‘snapshot’ reviews of 10+ Gb.

Product ManagerResponsible for graphical display, printing, text and web publishing, as well as Visio’s corporate deployment initiatives, including first delivery of the Visio Resource Kit. Served as the technical liaison between Visio and Microsoft engineering teams. Responsible for developing contacts and facilitating technical and business meetings with development groups from both companies.
