I contributed to the Avalon application framework and Cocoon web application and publishing framework. I founded the Jakarta Commons Attributes project, an implementation of Java annotations for pre-1.5 Java, which subsequently was used in the Spring framework.

With an executive teams background in building and deploying clustered services around the world, Inspired Labs Technologies was established as an incubator to build a new cloud computing platform to evaluate web 3.0 business opportunities. The main purpose of the platform was to capture the growing diversity of static, real-time, and social sources of content (news, blogs, forums, FB, twitter, etc) and analyze this content for potential new business applications, or business intelligence.The main components of the system involved distributed crawling, processing and analysis of web, with respect to deep semantic search. All of these components were developed upon our own cloud based architecture.Various valid business applications were developed, one of which lead to the development of the production system for Inspired Labs.

I designed and developed a clustered local search platform for the web and mobile devices. The platform was sold to leading IYP companies and was deployed across nine markets in Europe and the US, among them 118118.com in the UK.
