Security Analyst
Current- Monitoring network and system activity to detect threats or suspicious anomalies. This includes using tools such as IDS/IPS and SIEM to analyze network logs and data.- Investigate and analyze reported or detected security incidents. This includes identifying the source of the threat, assessing its impact, and performing mitigation actions.- Monitor the latest developments in cyber threats, hacker tactics and new tools in the security field to ensure security strategies remain relevant.- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to review the architecture of new applications or systems for compliance with security best practices.- Showcase expertise in analyzing a wide array of security devices including Wazuh, Fortigate, CrowdStrike, F5, Suricata, KSC, SOC Radar, Cortex, Honeypot, Thruk, Moloch, Akamai, Palo Alto, Symantec, CyberArk, Manage Engine, Thruk, etc.- Proactively engage with over 30 clients, notifying them of potential threats and addressing specific needs.
