At KONE I worked as a thesis worker, with the research topic "Service Design for Incidents". In this service design project, I examined elevator entrapments as an incident and how the customer experience could be improved by implementing a service design approach.

I was consulting for the SME Alu-Releco on a communication plan with the mentoring of Pentagon Design.

Junction is the biggest hackathon in Europe that organizes event both in Finland and internationally. Its main event organized in Finland brings together 1500 hackers annually from all over the world. At Junction I worked as the Head of Design. My job consisted of defining the existing Junction brand and creating and implementing the visual theme for Junction 2018. I gained experience in both in my design skills as well as leadership and project management. Through the passion of my fellow, the organizers and the Junction participants I learned about the current trends in the tech field and possibilities technology has to offer. I continued my work with the Junction brand by analyzing and researching the topic of event brand in my Bachelors thesis titled " Branding and visual identity of Hackathons".

At Exove Design I worked as a Service Designer in various projects. My main project during my summer was a service design project for the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, in which I designed a handbook and workshop concept for company workers to imagine their future workplace. It gave me insight on how to work with clients to create an innovative product that can have a positive impact on its users. In this project, I got to use my service design tools learned at university in a real-life setting.

Aalto Design Factory

Aaltonaut is Aalto University's product development minor taught totally in English. After completing this minor I worked as the course assistant for the minor. My responsibilities included assisting with the courses, marketing both in social media and on campus. I designed all the graphic material and photographed and created short videos for marketing.
