During my time at Harper Bee as an Art Director and Lead Designer, I played a central role in shaping the brand's identity for a new tween girl retail concept. I got to dive deep into the creative branding process, working on the brand personality including the store look and feel, crafting the overall vibe of Harper Bee that remained consistent until the business changed hands in early 2023.In my role, I oversaw the design team and collaborated with freelancers to ensure our creative output aligned with our brand's vision. I consistently delivered innovative product ranges by leveraging trend forecasting, designing unique graphics and surface patterns, and evaluating product samples, making sure our product offerings stayed high quality, innovative and on point. I also created a tech pack system for the entire product range, ensuring smooth collaboration with factories.Beyond brand development, I managed various graphic design projects such as marketing materials, catalogues, point-of-sale displays, and social media content. During my time as a freelance graphic designer with Spencil, a children’s stationery and school product company, I had the opportunity to design four extensive product collections, totaling nearly a hundred different items. These collections included a diverse range of products such as journals, pencil cases, wrapping paper, water bottles, and giftware tailored for both girls and boys.Working autonomously from home, I closely collaborated with the Spencil team to bring these product ranges to life. Following the success of the initial range, I was entrusted with developing three additional collections. In this capacity, I assumed full responsibility for art direction, graphic design, and original illustrations, allowing me to leverage my complete creative abilities.Upon concluding my freelance work with Spencil, I was honored to be offered the position of art director for the co-owner's new venture.

At Miltton, I began as a freelance graphic designer and quickly transitioned to a full-time position, reflecting my dedication and contribution to the team.During my tenure, I primarily focused on designing annual reports for major corporations, showcasing my ability to distill complex information into visually engaging and impactful documents. During this period, I worked as a freelance graphic designer, managing projects remotely for various clients.One notable project I spearheaded was designing and illustrating animal species signage for a special event at Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki, Finland. This entailed creating multiple large-format, fully illustrated signs with animal themes. The project was immensely successful and well-received by visitors, leading to a subsequent commission to design signage for permanent installations at the zoo.In this role, I had full creative control over the art style and ideation of the signs. Leveraging my expertise in vector illustration using Adobe Illustrator, I crafted detailed animal illustrations for the large-format signage. These signs remain in use at Korkeasaari Zoo to this day.In addition to this memorable project, I also worked on various corporate design projects such as annual reports, brochures, and leaflets.

At Earth Nymph Design, I started as a graphic design assistant and quickly advanced to the role of senior graphic designer.Initially, I closely collaborated with my manager to design t-shirts tailored for the tourism industry. I also contributed to graphic ideation and crafted catalogues, signage, apparel labeling, and swing tags.As my role evolved, I took on designing children’s product ranges, including t-shirts, hats, and baby products, while also delving into surface pattern design. Additionally, I mastered the operation of the plotter and vinyl cutter, utilized for creating graphics for heat press application, thereby enhancing my technical skills and versatility in the role. This brief stint paved the way for future opportunities within the same company.

I was engaged in a dynamic three-month project as a Junior Graphic Designer for an Australian Indigenous language multimedia initiative. Tasked with the creation of graphics and illustrations for this project, my role encompassed bringing to life the essence and cultural significance of Indigenous languages through visual storytelling. The project's objective was to contribute to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of Indigenous communities. My role also encompassed participating in concept development, game UI design, layout, beta testing, and basic animation.
