I arrived in Canada from Chengdu, China in 2015 as an international student looking to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business at the University of Waterloo. I accomplished this objective and graduated in December, 2020. Throughout my 5 years here in Canada, I have worked hard to immerse myself in Canadian culture focusing on networking, academic and professional development.I developed strong interests in data and analytics in my undergraduate studies and witnessed how the digital revolution has touched every aspect of our lives. The opportunity to benefit from learning about our behaviours is more important than anytime in history. I’m confident my background has prepared me with the skills to solve real-world business problems using a thoughtful and quantitative approach.My passion is technology and I spend spare time building computers and networks. I’m the friend people come to when their computers aren’t working right or they need advice on what to buy. I spend a great deal of time researching the latest trends and arming myself with knowledge on a variety of software and operating systems. One of my greatest strengths is the ability to take complex technical information and make it easy to understand and approachable.I’m an enthusiastic learner and I continually strive to increase my knowledge and add new cutting-edge skills.
