I am a PhD student in Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. I work as a Research Assistant in GENESYS Lab under the guidance of Professor Kaushik Chowdhury.I specialize in the intersection of AI and next-gen wireless networks. My research spans both leveraging AI to enhance wireless systems and developing wireless technologies to support distributed AI. A key focus of my Ph.D. has been towards Over the Air Federated Learning (OTA-FL) — a novel paradigm that uses signal superposition to enable collaborative learning in cellular networks, drastically improving spectrum efficiency and energy savings for users and operators alike.I've demonstrated this concept for the first time on a large-scale experimental testbed and continue to explore AI-driven innovations, including ML for channel estimation, neural receivers, multi-modal sensor fusion and Digital Twins for low-latency, programmable vehicular networks. Heavily focused on taking simulation-based approaches towards practical, real-world deployment, looking forwards towards gaining interesting hands-on experiences to develop the next generation of wireless systems coupled with AI powered solutions.
