behance.net/suyeshnepalGraduating in May 2016, I am currently a graduate student in MS Interactive Design & Media at Philadelphia University.Before joining PhilaU, I worked as a Principal Creative Designer at Verisk Information Technologies (formerly D2Hawkeye Services) for around 6 years and was leading a design team of 8 designers. At PhilaU, I've had the opportunity to develop myself as a better UX/UI designer by learning and implementing various theories, techniques, and best practices.I am passionate about interactive design (UX/UI) and have a very keen attention to details. I believe that an optimal and engaging design solution revolves around users from start to finish. For me, understanding target user group's goals and frustrations is a very good starting point in a project to solve the problem. I spend a good amount of time researching and sketching. Some of the key steps in my workflow include Problem Identification, Competitive Analysis, Users and Stakeholders Interview, Persona, Sketch (a lot), Low Fidelity Prototype, User's Feedback, Iterate, Sitemap, Wireframe, Usability Testing, User Flow, Style Tile, UI Kit, Visual Comp, High Fidelity Prototype, etc.Having undergrad in Computer Science, I do have a very good understanding of how things work and the programming logic. This has tremendously helped me in my career to collaborate better with dev team as well as in front-end development. I also enjoy doing some front-end development - HTML, CSS, JS as it feels like I'm giving life to the static design comps.I'm looking to work, as a full-time UX/UI designer, in a fun and vibrant work environment.
