Resurrected the Space Congress® after 11 years of dormancy. Collaborated with committee members to attain corporate sponsors, develop paper/panel sessions, generate advertising, market event merchandise, research candidate convention venues, manage logistics, and engage the STEM aspect by conducting the high school student Science Fair competition for best of show. The 43rd Space Congress occurred April 28-30, 2015. Over 300 people attended to listen to over 100 speakers and view 26 exhibits. Planning for the 44th Space Congress is currently under way for April 2016 with a long-term goal of expanding to a week-long event in 2019 to honor the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

• Skunkworks, CA: X-33 / VentureStar operations analysis, support and review of all ground operations planning, launch site infrastructure trades and vehicle turn-around processing.• International Launch Services (ILS), San Diego: Mission planning for Proton launches from Baikonaur Cosmodrome, Kazahkstan—including travel / housing logistics & payload logistics.• Lockheed Martin, Denver – Headed proposal team for Access to Space Study for 2020 presented to Congressional Committee 1998.

• Coordinated US Space Shuttle processes with the Russian Space Station Mir and the International Space Station.• Integrated ground support equipment and facilities, logistics, orbiter modifications, and landing through launch operations with regards to payload processing.• Interacted with Russian Space Agency docking system design team as well as NASA-JSC, Rockwell-Downey, and NRL-Washington, DC.

• Space Shuttle Integration Console coordinating 23 systems from the Launch Control Center (LCC) in test & checkout and launch & landing, including operations at Edwards AFB, CA. • Support for Space Shuttle launch processing from Vandenberg, AFB-CA. • Represented KSC at Moscow, Russia coordinating early design team for Shuttle – Mir docking mechanism operations with the Russian Space Agency. • Project Lead for several major projects / programs including: o Post-Challenger OMRSD and OMI/CIL reviews in support of return to flight of the space shuttle, Discovery, o Generation of re-test instructions for Multiplexer De-multiplexer units (MDMs)o Conversion of work authorization documents into a paperless computer system (WPSS).

• Installation, test & checkout of Auxiliary Power Unit & high pressure Hydraulic systems in support of Space Shuttle processing, launch and landing.• Experience with hypergolic hydrazine fuel in a SCAPE arena. • Extensive experience in troubleshooting and resolution of problem reports.

• Test & checkout of APU / HYD and water spray boiler systems at manufacturing level. • Vibration testing experience at AETL in Saugus, California facility. • Hands-on experience with hypergolic hydrazine fuel in test environment. • Lead Project Engineer for engineering test and final report deliverable over diversified engineering, technician, and quality control disciplines.
