Als Praktijkondersteuner van de Bedrijfsarts werkte ik onder taakdelegatie van de bedrijfsarts en was ik een belangrijk aanspreekpunt voor de verzuimende medewerker. Ik nam (telefonisch) contact op om opvolging te geven aan de ziekmelding en maakte een inschatting van de situatie. In nauw overleg met de bedrijfsarts gaf ik advies over de mogelijkheden tot werkhervatting en probeerde ik samen met de bedrijfsarts de verzuimende medewerkers op de juiste manier te helpen naar herstel en re-integratie. Ook door het bieden van psychologische handvatten.
