As Media Relations Director, I am responsible for everything from overall strategy and direction for the PR department to understanding the intersection of all agency services, client needs, and staff responsibilities.

Manage multiple client accounts in the fast-paced outdoor industry. Responsible for crafting and implementing PR campaigns to achieve client goals and increase brand recognition to both consumer and trade audiences.

Project Conserve focuses on environmental nonprofits in western NC. I recruited and managed volunteers for the WNC Nature Center, Asheville's AZA-accredited wildlife park. I also participated in conservation education programs for the Center and managed the Center's social media accounts, including the newly-established Instagram page.

As a broadcast news producer, I am responsible for putting the best possible show on the air, every time. From choosing the first story until we fade to black after a broadcast, I have my hands in every element of the shows I produce. That means I am responsible for story selection, writing, creating graphics, delegating assignments to reporters and photographers, handling the assignment desk, coordinating video feeds with crews in the field, timing shows, and so much more. As the weekend producer, I currently produce the highest-rated 11pm show of the week (Sunday night). In this position, I have gained invaluable experience working with all sorts of people and handling high-stress situations on a strict deadline. I have also become a valuable asset to the company, filling in on other shows often and helping train new employees.
