I Worked with my father to grow and expand his Scaffolding Business. From a small company employing 5 to to Northampton's largest scaffolding company employing over 25. I was an integral part of the finance department, implementing computerised accounts, Job-costing, and Access database. At this time I became involved with Underwood and Weston Ltd., and was a major shareholder. This was fascinating work which I really enjoyed and it was amazing to be part of restoration and conservation projects of listed buildings all over Northants. I was sad to move on from this but due to my business partner retiring and other issues I decided to try pastures new and went back to studying part time to gain my AAT Level 4. Whilst studying I have Worked at a African Safari Specialists, Since qualifying I worked as Finance Manager / Management Accounts in the education / apprenticeship sector for Elite Assessors. I have now 'gone back to my roots' in construction with the added experience gained in finance. At Gunite I have grown to love the world of concrete repairs, and as sad as that seems find it very rewarding, and enjoy bringing a mossy old crumbling balcony back to new!
