At Young Audiences of Louisiana, we’re dedicated to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplace and in the schools we serve. Our education programs have an emphasis on teaching birth-12th grade students of all learning abilities, as well as their families and teachers. In my role, I facilitate successful implementation of our school programs, and support the use of trauma informed practices and social emotional learning in our lessons.

As the Business Development Representative for the Crescent Title- Metairie office, I planned and implemented professional seminars, organized events, managed our client outreach, reviewed real estate contracts, and made professional presentations and appearances.

For eight years, I directed and managed the Education and Outreach department at the Preservation Resource Center where I worked to promote and educate the public about the significance of New Orleans’ architectural and cultural heritage. This work included expanding and creating educational series for adults, an in-school residency program for grade school children, annual events, fundraisers, and outreach activities. By collaborating with many prominent community leaders, academia and community partners, I delivered successful and dynamic programming, and exceeded my educational and budgetary goals. While I was the head of the department, participation in the Education Outreach events increased over 600%, culminating in serving thousands annually across the city.

I've gained much experience and knowledge of home renovation and interior design by working in Chicago and in New Orleans.
