After successfully completing my M.A. in Art History at the Courtauld Institute in 1996, I worked in the dynamic London art market as International Public Relations Specialist at Christie´s Auctioneers. I then became Senior Public Relations Manager at English Heritage specialising in art heritage, archaeology and tourism including leading the launch of the Wellington Arch - named Tourist Attraction of the Year.Following the birth of my children, I moved to Essex and continued my passion for Art and lectured at the Workers Education Association and University of the Third Age. My classes were extremely well attended and the feedback enthusiastic, reflecting my great pleasure in teaching art history to adults.I retrained as a Teacher in German and French and gained my PGCSE in 2012 and moved to Prague in 2016 to work at an International School Teaching History and German. This launched me onto my latest adventure and I am now in my 3rd year of my PhD studying Gustav Klimt, his Chinese Art Collection and the reception of China among the Vienna avant-garde. My love of languages - I speak German, English, French , Czech and Italian combined with teaching and art history have led me to publish both academic articles and art reviews. I have presented papers at conferences in Lisbon, Bristol and Liverpool. I am looking forward to the completion of my PhD and presenting my ideas in Europe and China. Meeting people and cross-cultural exchanges lie at the heart of my work.
