Responsible for supporting Retail Performance Directors, Regional Managers and store teams in over 300 stores across UK estate. Achieving a stock loss of only 0.4% cos.• Attending territory and regional meetings. Conducting health checks, training of physical security and coaching of colleagues on operational processes. Generally increasing colleague awareness.• I designed risk assessments for all potential new sites acquired within the UK. I produced Security Blueprints and costings for each store and submitted for board approval and Capex sign off.• Set up and managed a new team of 3 FCA Coaches. This additional role was introduced to support legislation and compliance of insurance sales.• Created and launched various documents which are now used as standard throughout the estate including: Property Minimum Standards, Profit Protection Toolbox, External Crime Report and Store Visit Checklist.

I started with Boots as a sales assistant from school and then quickly achieved a Team Manager Position line managing approximately 50 staff. After approximately two years I applied for, and was successful in being appointed Group Operations manager. This role covered six stores in the London area dealing with all operational processes and supporting stores in resolving issues from cash processes to stock loss. I learnt a great deal from this role which supported me in applying and being successful in becoming a Regional Profit protection manager in 2006 following a period of being a Store Manager.
