Let’s not settle for this, I believe this could be our time to THRIVE and become who we were made to be.18 years ago my husband was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease. I’ve had my own journey of shock, confusion, acceptance and growth. I know enough to know that everyone will have their own unique journey. Being part of a community that shares their wisdom, knowledge and encouragement is powerful. Having access to approaches like coaching and peer support can shift how we approach the challenge.Meeting James and Kyro I realised that this needed to be done at scale. With 13 Million unpaid carers across the UK, many of whom do not access support until they reach crisis point, we needed to harness the power of technology to radically change the way carers are supportedAnd so Mobilise was born and our journey ofcollaboration, co-production, research and testing began. Now we are ready to partner with Local Authorities and Carer Support organisations to reach more carers than ever before. Providing scalable solutions and tools, access to an amazing community for carers, world class content on caring (by carers) together with bespoke 1-1 and peer support.We are learning every day and organisations we partner with get access to these powerful insights about what carers need right now.I’m always happy to chat about what we are doing and how it can benefit the carers in your area.
