I'm passionate about Dental Hygiene and providing the best care possible to those who need it most. I enjoy serving those populations who often have barriers to dental care. I strive to maintain and grow my knowledge of treatments and dental topics in order to share with my hygiene team and Dental Connections. I pride myself in knowing the flow of the dental office and being able to predict the needs of those around me; to use this information to make decisions on ordering, inventory, and patient treatment. I promote a positive environment in some of the most stressful situations and foster teamwork between coworkers. I have a passion for making sure everyone who needs dental care receives it, which is why I am currently creating a program to bring dental care to nursing homes. My areas of expertise:Dental Hygiene: providing comprehensive periodontal evaluations,treatment, and education.Eaglesoft, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, maintaining and tracking inventory, coordinating patient and provider schedules, direct management of staff, research and planning in order to launch new programs, creating and implementing new policies/procedures.
