Initiated and led the 2017 launch of a SharePoint site for North American Finance with IT and the US Consolidations Controller, enabling a “one stop” resource repository for US and Mexico groups. Recognized as an “outstanding Project Manager” and a core contributor to key initiatives via SME-level AX knowledge, business acumen, and the ability to foster strong relationships among the U.S. Finance and IT teams. Managed the 2015 Concur (the U.S. travel expense reimbursement system) Interface Project (automation of GL journal entries into AX, the local ERP system), as the liaison between the project teams and Finance groups. Integral to a successful 2016 FIM implementation project bridging the local ERP (AX) with the Consolidations software. Tested setup/execution with the Paris R&C group and facilitated workshops/training tools for the Finance groups. Achieved Go-Live populating 28 entities and delivered in Paris with the US Consolidations Controller to the R&C/Finance groups. Developed from the ground up a new Shared Services role. Manage financial reporting supporting business units, review the financials of 12 Finance groups, and report data to the Paris Consolidations team, U.S. lenders, and regulatory agencies. Manage quarterly consolidations and prepare/validate pension allocations from Consolidated US plans to individual reporting entities. Coordinate dissemination of information to Tax groups, validate transfer entries between US entities, and ensure on-time completion of intergroup reporting/validation. Perform equity reviews for North American entities and quarterly audits. Oversee financial reporting for three holding companies. Manage weekly Concur Interface changes/reporting to FIM. Maintain AX to Magnitude map, lead Magnitude classroom user training. Handle statutory reporting and prepare US financial statements. Update information each quarter end on SharePoint site for NA Finance. Help implement new companies into Concur Interface/FIM process.

Advanced to oversee consolidation/reporting of monthly management reports, quarterly statutory financial statements and annual budgets for three segments, the largest with $300M in revenues, for this US subsidiary. Managed reporting and budgeting for seven distribution centers with a combined $250M budget, supporting month-end accounting and reviewing monthly cost analysis. Oversaw two staff and three indirect reports. Forged relationships with department leaders in North America and Europe. Played a key role in 30-month project to replace current ERP system with MS Dynamics AX. Automated 80% of monthly reporting package. Liaised among department and IT leadership to resolve IFS related issues. Consolidated month-end reporting package for Pigment on Paper Americas in the Skover financial package. Led direct report/indirect report. Oversaw recurring monthly processes associated with closing general ledger and prepared financial statements for legal entity in IFS. Completed monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintained general ledger. Served on General Ledger Roundtable Committee.

Supported SEC reporting, corporate accounting, consolidations, and cash management. Participated in Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in 2000; added new accounts aligned with US Bankruptcy code. Prepared external financial statements for Forms 10-Q and 10-K, coordinated year-end audits with Ernst & Young LLP, and performed monthly review/translation of European financial statements and consolidation into U.S. General Ledger. Reconciled balance sheet accounts, reviewed income statement accounts and reconciled inter-company accounts with European entities.
