I work with a variety of organizations on strategies to improve environmental and health & safety (EHS) performance and performance management. I bring 30 years of experience in EHS consulting and program and project management to the table and have served as strategic advisor to both corporate and operational levels of organizations. My experiences in helping clients to manage risks and recognize opportunities to improve EHS performance and performance management include municipal, mining, oil and gas, food and beverage, chemicals, plastics, ceramics, electronics, rubber, metals, and other sectors. I advise on policy and management system development, implementation, auditing, and improvement. I have managed projects involving systems conforming and certified to ISO standards as well as projects where conformance to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliance-focused environmental management system standard is required. I am trained on ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 14001:2015 as well as ISO 45001:2018 and have trained others on management systems. I have also worked with clients on transitioning from the 2004 to 2015 standard.I also advise clients on quality assurance programs, pollution prevention and permitting programs, and performance and compliance monitoring programs and chair Geosyntec's steering committee for these and similar practice areas.
