With 7 direct senior reports, I over see the day to day operations and health and safety of 3 indoor facilities and 4 outdoor facilities which include an outdoor education centre, 25m swimming pool, 4 large sports halls, large gym , exercise studios, climbing wall and over 100 acres of outdoor sports fields and pitches. I work with a young dynamic smt in delivering an excellent user experience which has been recognised through our Customer Service Accreditation Award and increased inward investments. I continue to control our costs and increase income as I'm responsible for a commercial approach to our services memberships which is growing back steadily after the pandemic. I continue to grow our sport development and physical activity as we realise increasing grant aid to reach out to more of our community to be physically active. I have recently secured additional investments into the expansion of our outdoor sports provision with the development of 3 new full-size atps and pavillon which is based on community identified demand to increase local junior community provision as well as meeting unmet student demand. In addition we have recently realised a full re- furb and design of our large gym based on users needs.To date i have secured capital investment into upgraded and new sports facilities at University of circa £15m.I work in collaboration and partnerships across the City and wider in harnessing development opportunities and resources to increase the reach of sport and physical activity.
