Collaborate with the US State Department, Scholars Without Borders (Harvard), and the English Language Fellows (Georgetown) programs to develop curriculum, facilitate workshops, and instruct international academics seeking opportunities at English-speaking higher-ed institutions worldwide. Subjects include how to hone speaking and presentation skills in English and hands-on, virtual workshops on interviewing, networking, presenting research, and becoming more comfortable speaking in academic situations.

Lead, develop, and organize public speaking and research courses

Taught multiple levels of English and Communications classes, including public speaking, professional/technical writing, proposal writing, style guides, and composition each year. Revised curriculum , updated and implemented curriculum changes and proposals, co-developed experiential learning projects, online student engagement training, and four study abroad opportunities. Served as DECA advisor, board liaison, event coordinator; recruited and mentored for 10-15 students each year; maintained social media sites; coordinated events at competitions; coached 50+ state and national champions.

Recruited, advised, mentored, and networked with university students in a skill-centered student organization to prepare them to be successful in competitions and careers. Collaborated and networked with advisors and community business leaders as an event coordinator and board liaison. Coordinated fundraising efforts, managed budget, oversaw club marketing, mentored student leadership, and lead cross-functional teams by recruiting students from various degree programs and strengthening team dynamics.

Hired and supervised learning lab staff, tutored students, developed supplemental materials, scheduled orientations, maintained test bank, organized course syllabi, hired and supervised ESOL adjunct faculty, helped implement changes to the ESOL program, and helped initiate developments in the ESOL curriculum.
