Due to having four children from 1995 onwards, I became a home maker, full time mum and full time career.My plan was to return to work once my youngest was in nursery school, then another of my children was diagnosed ADHD, autistic, ocd, chronic tic disorder, as you can imagine, this was a very hard time for our family, I was needed by him all day everyday, this resulted with me putting my work plans to the back of the queue.As he is older now he seems to be coping much better, he’s working and has settled very well into his routine, so now is MY time, I would love nothing more than to be able to work and contribute to our household.I do really need people to look at the bigger picture and just give me a chance, even though I have been unemployed for 23yrs now.I am very reliable and I am very popular due to my sense of humour and caring nature, my friends all feel at ease to confide in me with their problems and usually take my advice.I started in retail management and done really well until my parents decided that I wasn’t earning enough money through the youth training scheme that I was on, that’s when I started working packing seeds at Unwins, and that is when I fell pregnant with my daughter, my morning sickness was very bad and I had time off work to cope with it so they ‘kindly’ let me go.I have been making jewellery pieces for people which has been great, especially when I’ve made personal pieces like photo pendants, the tears of joy from people melt me!I love my yoga classes, I go three times a week to my local gym for that, it’s a bit of me time, everyone needs to relax and that’s my relaxation, and it’s also shown me that my body can still get into positions that I thought was impossible!!

Whilst I worked at new look, I was training in retail management, I got to level 2, I left there in the end as I didn’t feel appreciated and I found that most new employees were getting further than me.I left to go to a little corner shop where I was doing everything I should have been, opening, closing, cashing up, ordering, unfortunately the shop closed leaving me unemployed
