Responsible for providing Project Management instruction in alignment with PMI best practices. Duties include providing quality instruction to students within multiple time zones. Oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. Responsible for ensuring each project is operating appropriately according to implemented policies, government regulations, organizational goals, and best practices. Tasking includes full lifecycle application development and re-engineering/deployment/maintenance on mainframe and mid-tier environments, as well as public health research and awareness. Responsible for technical consultation, web development/publication (508 Compliance), surveillance, testing, database management and analysis, biostatistics, research study coordination and publications, user support, data entry/data management services and eLearning development. Core duties include recruiting/hiring staff; oversight for technical performance of staff and delivery of services; financial management including cost estimating, tracking cost, and invoice reconciliation; and support to business development. Responsibilities also include managing individual performers geographically dispersed at client sites, managing complex situations and interacting with a broad customer/client base including mid to senior-level managers.
