Senior Manager, Learning Services Delivery is responsible for leading, managing, and executing successful operations of both the enterprise-wide Learning Management System (LMS) and centralized instructional design services.
• Develop, and conduct, face to face and online training sessions for faculty and graduate students focusing on integration of various software programs from an instructional and pedagogical design perspective.• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and test (usability) Blackboard system in conjunction with the software program’s building blocks for use by faculty, staff and students• Communicate and plan Blackboard updates and maintenance for the campus• Coordinated and managed the year long campus-wide migration to Blackboard 9.1, as well as, developed all training materials, and sessions. As part of the migration I approved all media, marketing, and communications to ensure a smooth transition.
• Evaluated and supported academic software training in coordiation between college departments and vendors• Supported Blackboard administration including course creation, archiving, restoring, importing, user management, and resolving technical requests• Planned and managed the campus-wide migration to Blackboard 9.1 as well as developed all training materials and sessions • Prepared and conducted in-person and online training sessions for students and faculty including Blackboard orientation and other software programs connected with instruction• Managed staff for multimedia production events (guest speakers/lectures)
• Managed routine tests and inspections that supported environmental compliance in areas of storm water, spill prevention control, and counter measures, maintained the Material Safety Data Sheets and waste minimization policy.• Created procedures and databases, maintained and updated the existing, incorporating forms and queries as well as visual basics to be included in annual reports to managers and government agencies• Planned and coordinated with team leaders and engineers organizing, minimizing, and tracking all hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials in the Des Moines Works factory
